Multiple Wrecks Close Dead Mans Curve on HWY 278 East

Highway 278 at Dead Man’s Curve was closed due to multiple traffic accidents, Thursday afternoon.
Two large trucks and three regular vehicles were involved in 4 separate accidents, with only minor injuries around 2 PM, Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff Mark Gober told MLive that detours are being set up to ease after school traffic flow, through the ares.
Arkansas a HTD crewsare on the scenesed in that area until later this evening please detour
Arkanass State Troopers, Drew County Sheriff’s deutie and Masi also responded.p

road straighteners are expensive
@captain: true enough that they are expensive, but what is money compared to the amount of accidents that could have/can be prevented and the number of lives being lost?? In the long run it would actually save time, money, and lives. *Just a thought.*
