MonticelloLive announced last month that we will be awarding a $25.00 prize each month for the best story lead or photo contributed by a reader. 

The prize winning tip for December was a tip about a follow-up on a criminal story from early in the month.

Although the winning contributor did not want their name publicized, they did want to put their prize to good use.
