If you’d like to contribute as a writer or photographer to MonticelloLive or would like some help beginning a blog, there will be an open meeting held this Tuesday night, October 17 at 6:30 at Journey Church (to the right of Stage). Everyone is welcome!

This is a time change from the previously announced meeting.

Hey can you educate me on what exactly a blog is and is it a big ordeal to update? Would a blog be tied directly to mthis site? Oh and Karen my wife directed me to this site.

A web log or “blog” as it has been deemed is an online journal of sorts.It is a place where you can write about your life,books you have read,movies you have seen,poems or stories you have written or read,etc.You can also post pictures.People can also comment and/or leave feedback on your posts.To have a blog,you do not have to be linked to this site,but linking to this site will give you the opportunity to reach out to the community and make the community a part of your life.

Thanks for keeping this paper on line. I check it about every day. Always get news here that doesn’t get in the “other” town paper. I also enjoyed the Shady Grove site. That is my Church & I’d seen pictures but not the slide of the re-model. It sure is great, Thanks to OUR LORD, & HIS caring volunteers that made it possible.. GOD BLESS, mmc
