After the past week’s ice on Friday, and high winds on Tuesday, this morning’s weather is drawing more attention than usual.

Monticello has an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms forecast, which is a usual occurrence.

We are currently in the area of a large weather system that reaches to the south, all the way down to Houston, TX, which is experiencing Tornado watches, as a result of this system.

The National Weather Service isn’t placing any warnings for our area, yet.
