Monticello to Open New Clinic with New Physicians
Published by Joe Burgess October 16th, 2007 in Medical / Hospital.During Tuesday nights Quorum Court meeting, Richard Goddard, Drew Memorial Hospital’s administrator discussed two new projects, including moving the home health department, and the opening of a new clinic in the medical complex.
The first project was the re-location of Drew Memorial’s Home Health department, to it’s new building, on highway 278 east, in the former “Arise” school building, across from Young’s Bar-b-que.
The other project is the remodeling and opening of “Drew Professional Services”, in the old McKiever Clinic building.
Dr. John Zeigler, who is already a familiar face to many Drew County patients, is planning to establish a full practice there, by January.
Dr. Sidney Collins, a surgeon currently serving a tour of duty in Iraq, will also be establishing his practice in the new Drew Professional Services building, when he returns from military duty.
