The sidewalk will be built, starting at the intersection of highway 425 south, and old Warren road (seen above), proceed alongside of the softball field, then make it’s way to M.I.S.“The state of Arkansas is recieving a total of $10 million, over 10 years for this project, so there is the possibility of getting an additional grant in the future, for additional projects,” added Mr. Harper.
The nature of a project involves the co-operation of several organizations, including, the City of Monticello, and the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home for Children.
A sidewalk in this area, will be an excellent path for walkers from City Park, and will be also be useful to help some citizens access the medical complex.
