The Monticello School District served as the host site for the Region 14 School Board meeting, Monday night, Oct. 29.

The purpose behind having regional school board meetings, is so that the individual school boards can get together with each other, as well as with state legal representatives, “to discuss new laws and changes in policies,” according to Monticello School Superintendent, Mr. Bob Harper.

Other school boards participating included; Drew Central, Hamburg, Crossett, Dumas, McGehee, Lake Village, Rison, Warren, Hermitage, and Dermott.
