Monticello Police Dept. Arrest 4 Drunk Drivers Over Weekend, 2 of Them Twice
Published by Joe Burgess February 29th, 2008 in Police /Legal.The Monticello Police Dept. has been participating in a grant underwriting program designed to focus on drunken drivers.
The program seem to be working well, here in Monticello.
Last weekend (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday), Monticello Police Officers arrested 4 different DWI drivers.
What was not expected, is that one of Friday night’s arrestees, was arrested again for DWI with in 24 hours. Still another person arrested Friday night was arrested again (same charge) on Sunday.
Everyone (except these 4 drivers) appreciate the efforts of our local law enforcement, for keeping our streets safe to drive on.
