A Drew County woman, who was reported missing earlier this afternoon in the airport area, has been located by the Drew County Search and Rescue Team, and deputies.

The lady had been reported missing by her daughter, and was located in a nearby field, located behind a wooded, thicket area.

The lady appeared to be in good health, but was transported to Drew Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons.

I was impressed by the efforts of approximately 18 local officers, in the cold, rainy weather, in their efforts “to protect and to serve.”
