MIS Teachers Make Home Visits
Published by Monticello Schools September 11th, 2008 in Monticello School News.
Monticello Intermediate School teachers once again visited the homes of their students before school began in August in an effort to meet the students and parents before the first day of school.
Last year was such a positive experience that they were truly excited about repeating the visits this year. The teachers visited in teams and made pictures with their students to be posted on the wall outside their classrooms on Open House night.
Those students who weren’t available during the home visits had their pictures made with their teachers at Open House.
MIS extends a heartfelt thanks to Commercial, Parkway, Simmons, and Union Banks for providing gas cards to the teachers to help with the expense of driving to the homes.
