MIS East Goes Green with Ecophones Project
April 14th, 2009 by Monticello SchoolsMIS Going GREEN!
Monticello Intermediate EAST started a recycling project called Ecophones. Ecophones is a program in which the company recycles old or used cell phones, iPods, digital cameras, laptops, handheld game systems, and inkjet cartridges. This helps keep the earth clean. We will receive a small profit from each item recycled. The profits we raise will go toward purchasing a WeatherBug Weather Station to be placed in our Learning Garden. If you have any of these items and would like to recycle them, bring them to MIS or contact Lisa Brown at 367- 4014.

What about larger things like harddrives and computer monitors? Do you take these as well, or just the smaller items?
The company will only take smaller items.
