MHS Choirs Receive Superior Division I Ratings at CPA

Each Monticello High School Choral Group earned Superior Division I ratings at CPA – Choral Performance Assessment on Saturday, March 2 in Star City.

MHS Concert Choir and Ladies Ensemble received Superior Division I ratings in both performance and sight-reading. The Madrigals received a Superior Division I in performance and Excellent Division II in sight-reading. These ratings qualify the choir for Sweepstakes and Best in 4A Class Competition at State CPA in April. “I am very proud of these wonderful, talented and hard working students,” said MHS choir teacher, Bennie Vincent.
