Grace West, a senior at Monticello High School, signed a letter of intent to cheer at the University of Central Arkansas during a ceremony Friday, April 27 at Monticello High School.

Grace has cheered at Monticello High School for 2 years, but has been tumbling and dancing her whole life.

She was nominated for All-American Cheerleader by National Cheerleader Association staff at summer camp, won the running tumbling competition at camp, and was recently voted Best Tumbler of the 2017-2018 Squad by her team.

“Grace has worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and that is what it takes to cheer at the collegiate level”, MHS Cheer Coach Whitney Maggard says, ” We are all so proud of her. I will miss her on our sidelines next year, but excited for her to begin this next chapter of cheer”.

While at UCA, Grace intends to major in neuroscience or anthropology. ?
