The annual Powder Puff football game will be Thursday, November 6th at 6:30 at Hyatt Field. Sign up with your class sponsor if you are interested in playing or coaching. Each team may have up to 6 coaches- 3 of which must be football players. Sign up is first come, first serve for coaching. It is up to coaches to schedule practice. As many girls who want to play are welcome to play; however, you must sign up and turn in a signed permission slip. Any boys interested in being cheerleaders at the game must also sign up. A list of the rules and the permission slips will be with your sponsors. The cost to play, coach, cheer, or attend the game is $1.00. Sign up will begin Friday with the class sponsors and run through next Friday, the 31st. Seniors, Mrs. Curry; Juniors, Mrs. Mitchell; Sophomores, Mrs. Reginelli; and Freshmen, Mrs. Hilburn. Do not interrupt class to sign up!
The afterschool program invites you to the “Second Annual Haunted Monticello Tour” Wednesday, October 29th. We will leave the high school at 3:45 and return at 5:10. You must get a permission slip signed and returned to Mrs. Bonfanti by Tuesday, October 28th.
The library club shirts are in. Come pick yours up between classes!
9th grade football players – Please have money for Jr. football lettermen jackets turned in by Wednesday.
Student Congress members we will meet Tuesday and Thursday at 11:15 and Wednesday afterschool please make sure that you are present competition is in 2 weeks if you are unable to make it please see Mr. Brown asap.

Attention Speech and Drama club members: Sign up for the Russellville tournament on November 14 and 15 is available in Ms. Armbrust’s room. You must sign up by Friday, November 7.
All students that are signed up to take the ASVAB on Thursday should meet Mrs. Curry in the library Tues. during homeroom. Important test information.

Senior Picture retakes will be on Thursday, October 30th. If you have not had your picture made, this will be the last opportunity to be included in the yearbook and on the senior composite. Students that wish to have retakes made must bring their original proofs back along with $10.
The opportunity for National Honor Society hours will be on Monday November 3rd, not November 4th. If you are interested in participating please see Ms. Hilburn
The MHS after-school program -. A full schedule of activities is posted in the student center. IF you are riding a bus you must have your forms turned into the office ASAP
Baseball off-season will begin November 3. All participants must have a current physical on file with Coach Beasley to be allowed to participate. Not having a current physical will be counted as an unexcused absence.
