All NHS hours for this semester are due to Ms. Hilburn by December 17. There are many members that are lacking hours, so get to work!
Reader’s Theater will practice after school on Wednesday Nov. 19 to prepare for the Forensics showcase on the 21st.
Attention any students interested in competing in the Mock Trial competition please stop by and see Mr. Brown for instructions and a copy of this year’s case materials. Auditions will be held the week we return from Thanksgiving break for both lawyers and witnesses.
Any Junior who would be willing to sell chili supper tickets for the night of the Christmas parade needs to see Mrs. Stanley ASAP. If you are already selling tickets, all money is due to Mrs. Stanley by Thursday November 20.
The counseling center will be closed Nov. 19, 20 and 21 for counselors to attend the state counselors conference.
Auditions for the school play Crimes of the Heart will be Tuesday, December 2 at 3:30 in Ms. Armbrust’s room. There is a sign-up sheet outside her door if you wish to audition or work on the technical crews. Please pick up a form and return it by Tuesday, December 2. There are flyers posted outside her room describing the characters and play.
Speech and Drama club members can sign up for the final tournament of the semester, the North Little Rock Charging Wildcat Classic in Mrs. Armbrust’s room. You must sign up before the Thanksgiving break.
Baseball try-outs will begin Monday, December 1. All participants should meet at the baseball clubhouse immediately after school. Participants should bring proper equipment including warm-ups, shorts, t-shirts, cleats, tennis shoes, gloves and hats.
