Memorial Roses

Judge Robert Akin wants to thank everyone that donated money to purchase rosebushes to plant around the ear memorial at the courthouse.
“We have had 14 donated so far, and are hoping for an additional 10.”
The cost for two rosebushes is $36, and the Town and Country Garden Club is overseeing this project.
“I appreciate everyone who has contributed. The courthouse looks wonderful already, and it will be even more beautiful when the new rosebushes start to bloom.”

Wonder what happened to the rose garden previously planted there by the Boy Scouts? Hope these bushes will be maintained.
