This is a portion of the MEDC report as it was recently presented to the group by MEDC director Truman Hamilton.

 I received an email July 24th that H. R. 6532 passed by a vote of 387 yeas to 37 nos with 10 not voting. This action will restore the Highway Trust Fund Balance. 

 

All of our representatives voted for the measure and I sent an email to each office with a “Thank You” for their support.  There was $8,017,000,000.00 involved.  Also it was announced last week that $13 million has been appropriated for Arkansas highway projects with $3 million dollars designated for the Great River Bridge.
