This is a portion of the MEDC report as it was recently presented to the group by MEDC director Truman Hamilton.

As time permits I continue to respond to complaints filed about neglected property, trash, litter and overgrown lots.

Letters have been mailed to the renters and property owners and we have had some success at getting some of these lots cleaned and mowed. We have had one property owner agree to remove an old house that has become too dilapidated to be repaired.
