This is a portion of the MEDC report as it was recently presented to the group by MEDC director Truman Hamilton.

Mark Sikole continues oversee the timber project on the land around Lake Monticello. They have finished thinning in the area on the south west side and will move to the  north west side this week. An example of the work they are doing can be seen as you enter the lake property from Highway 35.  When you see the marked boundary of the lake property on your right, you can see where trees have been removed to promote growth of the remaining timber.
