Over the next few days, MonticelloLive will be running segments of the MEDC Director’s report, as presented by Truman Hamilton at the recent MEDC meeting.

Our organizational meeting was held March 31 at 6 p.m. at the MEDC office. Mr. Grant Pace was elected to fill the position of Mr. Homer Pace.  Mr. Homer retired from the board. Mr. Don Hogue was elected to the board and Mr. Grant Pace was elected President. Mrs Betty Hughes will continue to serve as Secretary.  Mr. Steve Kelley and Mr. Chuck Capps, county agents were appointed ex-officio members of the board.  Mr. Lyndell Baker was hired as market manager.  We have applied for a grant of $16,156.12 for the market operation this year. The market will be open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 7 am to noon beginning Saturday May 31.
