Hazelene McCray was named Expanded Food and Nutrition (EFNEP) 2020 Supervisor of the year. The EFNEP Program empowers individuals, families and youth with limited resources to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and behavior changes necessary to maintain nutritionally sound diets and increase physical activity.

Our goals are to use a holistic nutritional educational approach. Clients will experience improvements in four core areas:  diet quality and physical activity, food resource management, food safety and food security.

McCray was also the recipient of this award in 2016 and 2014. She is Drew County’s Family Consumer Sciences Agent- Staff Chair with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
