On December 19th, Mayor Roger attended an Intermodal meeting in Warren. On January 9th -12th, Mayor Rogers attended the Municipal League Winter Conference that was held in Little Rock, Arkansas.

On January 12th, Mayor Rogers participated in the Martin Luther King Memorial Walk. After the Memorial Walk, Mayor Rogers also welcomed everyone at the NAACP breakfast held at Holmes Chapel Presbyterian Church.
 
In addition;

Repaired the sewer problems on North Chester Street, Glenwood Drive,   West College Street, University Heights, West Bolling Street, North Hyatt Street, South Gabbert Street, Tanglewood, and in Western Pines.
Cut down the trees on Cooper Street in preparations for the sidewalk going beside the city street.
Repaired a water main on North Rose Street.
Repaired a water leak on West Shelton Street, Indian Mounds, and on Deerfield Drive.
Cleaned out the culverts on South Hyatt Street.
Repaired and installed the new culvert that was washed away at McCloy Park.
Cut down some limbs and mowed the grass on Old Warren Road.
The Department of Corrections cleaned out the ditches between Jackson Street and South Edwards Street.
Meter tap on Barkada Road.
Sewer inspection was performed on North Gabbert Street.
Christmas Lights were taken down at the town square and around McCloy Park.
The Department of Corrections helped with the preparations of getting the  softball fields ready for competition for the University of Arkansas Monticello Tournament coming up next month at the Monticello Sports Complex.
The Department of Corrections also helped with cleaning up the baseball fields and getting them ready for the new season.
