Man Arrested for Beating 82 Year Old Victim

January 27th, 2012 by

On the afternoon of January 19, a subject came to the Drew County Sheriff’s Office to report that Larry Alan Pierce, 51 of Star City, had beaten him up at a residence located at 160 Cripple Creek Lane.

The victim, an 82 year old male, had been working on a mobile home when Pierce allegedly came to the location and threatened to “whip” and “kill” the victim. When the victim turned away, Pierce began hitting him in the head and facial area.

Pierce was arrested by Drew County Sheriff Deputies and transported to the Drew County Detention Facility where he was charged with Battery 2nd degree which is a felony charge due to the victim being over 60 years old.

beating up an 82 year old? really? I hope they throw the book at him and gets what he deserves in prison. that is just a sick, sorry piece of nothing.

  2. Timothy says:

    Now that’s sorry!!!

  3. cathyMorgan says:

give the family of the 82 year old man 5 minuets alone with the man. He would not beat another 82 year old.

  4. blondie says:

There is nothing worse then beating up an elder or a child….Throw the book at this person. These ages are defenseless to protect their selves.

  5. bonnie says:

just dont know the whole truth about it so please just mind your own

  6. mind your own says:

whole truth never warrants beating up an 82 yr old person. there are words for what kind of person does this but my post won’t be seen if i use them.
