Major Water Outage Shuts Off Enon & Cominto, Service Restored 1:30 am

The entire Enon Water System (around 200 homes) was out of service due to a cut 6-8” water main, in the Monticello section of the line that supplies the Enon and Cominto communities with water.
Sources report to MonticelloLive that the electric transmission line construction crew cut into the line around 3–4 p.m. Sunday. We were told that they had contacted One-Call during the appropriate time frame to have any lines marked but at the time of the service disruption no markings were present.
Monticello City employees and the Enon Water manager were working at the scene, and had service restored approximately 1:30 Monday morning.
The entire Enon Water System is under a boil order.
