Loryn Teater Wins Stamp Out Smoking Essay Contest with Over 1,000 Entries

Loryn Teater, a 6th grader at Monticello Middle School, submitted a winning entry for the Stamp Out Smoking (SOS) Clean Air Avengers Essay Contest. This year, SOS received more than 1,100 entries from around the state of Arkansas. Teater placed first in Arkansas in the category for grades 4-6 and won a laptop computer for her efforts. She is the daughter of Donald and Renee Teater.
