Log Truck Wreck on HWY 277, Selma to Tillar

October 31st, 2012 by

Around 9 o’clock this morning, a single vehicle log truck accident occurred on HWY 277 between Selma and Tillar.

Both lanes of the road are blocked, and should re-open around noon.

There are no serious injuries; Drew County Sheriff’s deputies, Arkansas HWY Police, Reliable Towing crews are on the scene.

The driver told MLive that as he was coming around a curve, he met a car that was driving on the center line.  He slightly swerved to avoid a collision, which caused him to lose control of the log truck.  The truck belongs to Harvey Logging.

Glad that no one was hurt !!! People should really pay attention on the roads…. this could have been a very serious wreck with someone in the center line. Thank you Lord for keeping them all safe!!!

  2. Vibrante says:

Sounds like this driver needs to teach the driver of mondays wreck how to avoid an accident rather than jumping out & killing someone.
