One Response to “Log-A-Load Fish Fry Scheduled for Saturday”

  1. Gay Griffith says:

Thanks for the news article regarding the Log-A-Load fund raiser for children. There are a lot of volunteers associated with the logging industry who work very hard on this annual fundraiser for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. The annual event is well ateended each year with usually well over 400 people attending. The attendees find good bargains in the silent and live auctions.

The efforts of the voluteers, donations by the logging industry and the support of the entire community as a whole in donating items for the auction, attending the function and bidding on auction items, has netted the Arkansas Children’s Hospital an average of over $60,000 each of the past several years.

If you have not attended an annual Log-A-Load fund raising event, you have missed a good meal, a good time and a good opportunity to help a child with a serious ilness or injury. (All proceeds go to the ARKANSAS Children’s Hospital.)
