Local Lady Donates Flat Screens to DMH Patient Rooms for Christmas
December 23rd, 2009 by Rebecca FriendAt Tuesday’s Quorum Court meeting during the hospital report, DMH CEO Mike Layfield told the court that Minnie Mae Moffatt had been visiting at the hospital and noticed that only about 15 of the rooms had flat screen TVs. The other 33 rooms had old box TVs.
Mrs. Moffatt asked Layfield how much it would cost to buy flat screen TVs for those other rooms. After hearing the price of $23, 000, Moffatt left, only to return a few days later with a check for that amount. She told Layfield she was giving the money for the TVs in the spirit of Christmas.

It is so wonderful to hear that the Spirt of Christmas still lives on. This lady has that in her heart to do this, if we could only instill this on our children today, just think what a blessing it could be not only for them but for those around them…Thank you Miss Moffat for your kindness and I know that God will bless you in many ways!!!
