Local Doctor Changing Medical Clinics
September 3rd, 2012 by Joe Burgess
After serving Monticello as a physician for several years, a local doctor is changing clinics. This change is effective, beginning Tuesday.
Dr. Michael Fakouri, a 2005 graduate of the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, with a Family Practice Residency at: UAMS AHEC/Texarkana, completed in 2008, is moving his medical practice to Monticello Medical Clinic.
MMC also recently welcomed Dr. Julia Nicholson as a new physician to the recently expanded facility.
When Dr. Fakouris patients make their next appointments, they will need to tell the clinic that their files are available from Reinhart Family Medical Clinic.
Dr. Fakouri is also a member of the Monticello School Board.

Wished he would have done this last week. Our older daughters switched to Dr. Sylvia Simon as they grew older. It was nice having everyone (but my wife) seeing the same clinic. We will be switching clinics, because we do not wish to switch doctors. No offense to any physicians in Drew County, but my children and I vote Dr. Micheal Fakouri the best doctor in town!
I vote Dr Fakouri the best Dr in town too! Where Dr Fakouri goes, I go.
Some of my family uses Dr Tim and he comes in at a close 2nd.
He is the best..Not to mention the nurses and Rebecca..I will be following him!!
