Jr. Billies Cheerleaders Win UCA Cheerleading Camp Awards at ASU

The Monticello Jr. Billies Cheerleaders just returned from a week at UCA Cheerleading camp at ASU in Jonesboro. The squad received 3 trophies: Camp Champion for their Home Pom Routine, Superior for their Xtreme Dance Routine and Allstar Cheer. They received 11 Superior ribbons and 1 Excellent ribbons for their accomplishments at camp. Katelyn Campagna, Samantha Wilkerson, and Shelby Tiner were recognized as UCA Camp Stars. Parker Palsa and Madelynn Gates were recognized as UCA All Stars and were invited to participate in the Houston Day Parade in November. Madelyn Gates received the Jump Queen award for having the best jump in the Jr. High Division of all squads. They were accompanied to camp by their coaches Cindy Akin and Dawn Campagna.
