As the school year starts and thoughts turn to Friday night games, Journey Church plans to kick off its fall emphasis centered around the theme “Facing the Giants.” It will be showing the critically-acclaimed movie about faith and football this Sunday evening, August 26 at 5:00 at their new location at 775 Edgewood, just behind the BP Gas Station on Highway 425.

On Sundays, the pastors of Journey will be preaching messages about he people can “face their giants” using biblical characters for illustration. Their small groups also begin a new semester next week focusing around the theme.

Sunday night’s movie event offers free popcorn, drinks, and snacks for everyone. The community is invited to attend. Parents should know that the movie is very family-friendly and is one of inspiration and encouragement.
