Jermaine Taylor To Attend Boxing Event in Monticello Saturday, in Honor of Dr. Randy McKiever

McKiever.
Ticket prices start at $25, other seats cost $35, and ringside seats are set at $50. Former world middleweight champion, Jermain Taylor, will be present as an invited guest at ringside.
The event is being held in honor of Dr. Randy McKiever, and as a fundraising effort to support the Dr. William R. McKiever Scholarship Fund, also to help with some of Dr. McKiever’s medical expenses. A family member told MonticelloLive that Dr. McKeiver is hoping to be present at the event to see his friends and former patients.

BIG FIST PROMOTIONS, INC. IS PROMOTING A PROFESSIONAL BOXING MATCH IN HONOR OF DR. WILLIAM R. MCKIEVER, WHO IS WELL KNOWN AS A DOCTOR, PASTOR AND FRIEND TO MANY, MANY PEOPLE THROUGH OUT THE COUNTY AND STATE.
THE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY CENTER (SHINING M ARENA) MAY 31, 2008.
THIS WILL BE A ONE NIGHT PROFESSIONAL BOXING EVENT.
MAJOR CONTENDERS WILL BE JOE WINTERS, KEVIN STROUD, JONATHAN NELSON.
FORMER WORLD CHAMPION JERMAIN TAYLOR WILL BE A SPECIAL RINGSIDE GUEST AS A FRIEND OF DR. MCKIEVER’S AS PARTIAL RECEIPTS WILL GO TO THE DR. WILLIAM (RANDY) MCKIEVER SCHOLARSHIP FUND, AND TO THE DR. WILLIAM R. MCKIEVER TRUST FUND FOR HIS EXTENSIVE CARE.
IF ABLE, DR. MCKIEVER WILL APPEAR TO GREET HIS PATIENTS AND FRIENDS.

This event exemplifies the greatest gift of all: LOVE As a community, we need to see more events to support those who are in need. I personnally feel the one chosen, Dr. McKiever, is a genuine person who showed love and compassion for all; therefore it is very befitting and we all should support this event whether you go in person or make a charitable contribution. As once stated to me by a wise old man, it is not the amount you give but what you give, give it from the heart.
Wonderful!!! Dr. McKiever was my physician while in the practice. Does anyone have more info on a time or a price for this event? I will be sure to be in attendance.
