Tuesday will be an important day for the Monticello School District.

Advanced ED, formerly known as “North Central”, will be will be conducting their evaluation process of the Monticello schools.

In the past, the district would have to be “certified”, as the program is set up now “each facility” must meet the standards.

The purpose of the meeting will be to establish district-wide school improvements, and to look at the district’s “vision” and “mission” statements.  Also being evaluated are the “core beliefs and values”.

Also to be covered are the 5 year goals for the district.

This meeting will be held at the Southeast Educational Co-operative, and take place Tuesday from 9 a.m. til 3 p.m.
