Merlin Taking Off from Monticello, AR Airport from MonticelloLive .

There was a lot of activity at the Monticello Airport, Monday afternoon around 3 pm.

Ward Rabb’s Merlin took off, followed by the Taylor’s Citation 10, which was followed by a Lear Jet .

The Lear Jet was chartered from Jackson Air Charters of Jackson, MS., It dropped off passengers in Little Rock; then flew into Monticello to pick them up, after they had made several stops for business, on their way south.

Capt. Michael Lannon told MLive this was his second trip to Monticello. He complimented airport manager James Barnett for his help in returning a passenger’s lost phone on their first trip, and also appreciated the complimentary wi-fi offered to airport users.
