John Christopher “Booger” Knight, age 33 of Hamburg, was arrested over the holiday weekend in Ouachita Parrish, LA. by a Louisiana State Trooper, who had a tip that Knight was heading his way, driving a truck that had been stolen from Drew County in November.

The Drew County Sheriff’s Dept. had listed Knight with the National Criminal Information Center for having a Fugitive Bench Warrant out of Drew County.

Knight now also faces Louisiana charges for driving on a suspended drivers license, open container, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.  He will be returned to Drew County after facing the out-of-state charges.
