Friday Night Fire on 278 West

A fire, located under a house at 118 Bassett Lane, was reported to the Monticello Fire Dept, Friday evening.
The fire crew pulled back the siding of the residence, and found the location of the fire, under the center part of the house. Bobby Ray Sawyer, is shown here, as he worked his way through the crawlspace, underneath the structure, to get closer to the fire.
Sawyer is shown here, hosing off, after returning out from under the house. The fire possibly started from a lightning strike, that traveled into the structure.
