Friday Night Armed Robbery of Western Sizzlin’ Reported

According to the Monticello Police Dept., an investigation is underway in the case of the armed robbery of Monticello Western Sizzlin’, Friday night, around 10 pm.
According to reports, a single unidentified black male gained entry to the building by breaking out a glass door, after the business had closed for the evening.
No one was injured, and the nightly deposit seems to have been the focus of the armed robbery.
Western’ Sizzlin was the victim to 2 breaking and entering cases within one week, in late June.
