Former Monticello Resident Dies in Tuesday Wreck, After Being Married Tuesday Afternoon
Published by Joe Burgess February 28th, 2008 in WRECKS.According to reports, Tuesday afternoon, Mendy Landsdale Cheramie, formerly of Monticello, repeated her wedding vows with Robert Kelley, of Hamburg.
Around 7 p.m. that night, Mendy lost her life in a single vehicle accident, on Ashley County Road 147.
The Ashley County Sheriff’s Dept. responded to the call, which was worked by Arkansas State Police Officer, Rick McKelvey.
Her funeral service will be held today, at 2 p.m., at the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel.
