WOW! Thanks for the pictures Joe. I’ve lived here over 4.5 decades and have never seen anything like this. I sure hope nobody was hurt.
We got alot of wind and very little rain yesterday evening. Saw on here that Monticello really got hit hard with alot of flooding in areas and hail too. I hope noboday was hurt during all of this.
Thanks for the very timely photos. I fought a “river” coming in my front porch yesterday evening. Seems the west side of Monticello got very little rain & coworkers could not understand my concern this morning . . . until they looked at Monticello Live.
We live 2 miles past the airport on 278 East and have been here for about 10 years and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen that much rain, hail and flooding. Last night off & on for about 45 minutes it hailed. We have a creek that runs through our back yard. It is about 50 yards from the house. Last night during the flood it was about 40 yards away from the house.
Last night was truly unbelievable!
