Fire Dept. Receives New “Jaws of Life” Equipment

The Monticello Fire Dept. recently received it’s new “Jaws of Life” equipment, shown above.
The rescue tools include: a spreader, used for spreading the door on a wrecked vehicle; a cutter made for cutting the cab or hinges off of a vehicle; and the power unit, which has a 3 horsepower Honda engine.
