As the fire department was rolling up their hoses from the HWY 278 fire, around 3:10, another call came in, telling them of another grass fire speading into a wooded fence row, near the intersection of HWY 425 South and HWY 172, at White Hall.  The Lacey-Ladelle also responded to this call, which was located behind the Clampit residence.

The blaze soon was out, and both fire departments returned to business as usual.

The Monticello crew returned to town, and refilled there pumper unit.
