Fire Call #2-Thursday-HWY 278 East

Shortly before 3 p.m., a grass fire call came in, dispatching the Monticello Fire Dept. east of Monticello, on HWY 278. The fire had spread to a wooded area, just past the fire training center, and F & F boat shop.
A pumper truck and the mini-pumper responded, and soon had the blaze extinguished.
