Fire at SEARK Boats, Near Hyatt St

The Monticello Fire Dept responded to a minor fire at the SEARK Boat plant, which is located behind Pauline Baptist Church.
The fire, which was conatained to a portion of the paint room, was quickly extinguished.
SEARK had evaquated the building, and there were no injuries reported.
The call came in to the dispatcher around 6:05 PM.
According to reports, the fire only involved an area where a pile of rags and debris was stored, and damage to the plant was kept to a mimimun.
