Fire at Monticello Area Sawmill Thursday Morning

The Monticello Fire Dept. responded to a fire at Bates Sawmill on Old Deane Road, just outside of Monticello, just after 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to reports, the fire began in area in the back of the building, which was used as a living quarters for employees.
