Fetal Alcohol Syndrome training will provide the participant with an opportunity to understand the physical, mental, behavioral and cognitive effects of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. The trainer will discuss the occurrence of this disorder in both the state and the nation, review both the individual and  societal effects with possible lifelong implications, and prevention/intervention efforts.This training is recommended anyone working with or living with children and families affected by this disorder; for individuals working with in health care settings; for individuals working with students, families or in areas of community or social welfare; or working in the field of substance abuse prevention or intervention.

The training will be held June 26, from  9 am until  4 pm.
