Bobby Joe Ferrell was killed Tuesday morning, around 9:30, when the Chevy S-10 he was driving swerved to avoid something in the highway, and lost control.

Ferrell was northbound on HWY 425 North, just past Campground Road, and was pulling a trailer with a riding mower on it, which may have been a contributing factor to the wreck. 

Arkansas State Trooper Matt Roberson investigated the accident, after the scene had maintained by the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept.

    Bobby was married to Lorna with each having children. But Bobby had three daughters and four grandchildren, and he had stepchildren as well as step grandchildren. He was from a large family of brothers, sisters, and nieces and nephews who loved him very much. May God be with each and everyone of them.

    It was great loss to lose such a wonderful person. He was loved and adored by everyone that knew him. Johnny and me both will miss him so much, it will be hard to live life without him. He was like a dad to the both of us. Uncle Bob And Aunt Lorna had been together for 19 years. They were both the light of each other lives living each day to the fullest.     to our dear sister Lorna,and to Tricia and Johnny our angels in waiting Our prayers are with you all there. Our Hearts are riddled with sorrow and sadness with this tragic accident. Must be God needed a good repair fellow up there… We loved to talk with Bob!for hours Mike and Bob would talk about there old cars and part’s. Mike will sure miss that!! We could talk to Bob about most anything and he would have answer’s. I’ll alway’s remember the Hairs cut’s and the last one will be in memory forever! But there is one thing we are thankful for is that our Bob didn’t suffer. So God was goo in taking him home soon. Lorna and friends we love you from the North.. Sweet memory’s you gave us bob and thanks for them. Rest in peace now.

    My dad was invoved in this wreck.Bobby was my uncle.Its been a month and a day and its stil hard to believe Uncle Bobby isnt here with us anymore! i desnt seem real.I will always remember the way uncle bobby used to pick on me and made a joke out of everything!
