Helping Spanish-speaking children adapt to classrooms where English is the primary language is the subject of two courses offered this fall by the School of Education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Both classes will be offered online through the UAM website with four Saturday sessions on campus scheduled for September 6 and 27, October 18 and November 15.

The classes are “Teaching Students of Other Cultures” and “Assessing Second Language Learners.”
