The Effie E. Brooks Civic Club will have their 54th Annual Anniversary Program, Sunday 18, at 3:00p.m, at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello.

The Guest Speaker will be Rev. Thelma Hampton, Pastor of Shady Grove A.M.E Church

The theme of the program is   “100 civic women in white”  ”Lifting as we climb”.  

All women are asked to dress in white, and all men are asked to dress in black, as they come out to support this program.
Community Service Awards will be given to the South Arkansas Conference Women Missionary Society of the A.M.E church for their services in Mission work, and to Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church for their work with children whose parents are incarcerated.
The Effie E. Brooks Civic Club invites the public to attend.
