Last Friday evening, MonticelloLive posted a story about David Dorsey’s accident on Old Dermott Highway.

Although sources at the scene believed that this would have been his 4th DWI in 3 years, he was charged with DWI 3rd offense.

MonticelloLive just wanted to clarify any possible misconceptions that may have originated from the story.

Dorsey was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, failure to maintain control, driving on a suspended drivers license, and refusing breath test.
