Agents from the 10th Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of Derrick Lambert, age 24, located on Wiley Trotter Lane in Monticello this week.

Agents, assisted by the Monticello Police Department, executed the warrant and found Lambert in the bathroom of the residence attempting to flush marijuana. After a brief scuffle, officers controlled Lambert and recovered a substantial amount of marijuana from the bathroom. Lambert was also found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana in his pocket as well as 2,300.00 in cash that was seized by officers. Digital Scales were also located inside the residence as well.  Lambert is currently in jail awaiting a first appearance/ bond hearing.
