The Tenth Drug Task Force will hold an auction at the Drew County Fairgrounds on October 25th, 2008.

The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Firearms, vehicles, and miscellaneous items will be available for viewing at 9:00 a.m.

Those interested in purchasing firearms will need to complete a background check authorization before bidding, so come early to be sure you are registered in time for the Auction. Registration for the Auction will begin at 8:30 a.m., or you can pre-register by calling the 10th Drug Task Force at 870-460-0900 anytime during business hours this week.

In this years Auction, the Task Force will be selling handguns TO LICENSED DEALERS ONLY. All interested buyers must bring a copy of their Federal Firearms License to the Auction and a copy of their drivers license. At the conclusion of the long gun auction, the handguns will be sold.

Firearms from makers such as Weatherby, Smith & Wesson, Mossberg, Remington and Taurus will be sold at the auction.
